Sepp the Seahorse and Baby
These beautiful crocheted Seahorses and their babies are handmade by Pauline Ross and sold to raise funds for Rare Dementia Support.
Pauline is a regional contact for Rare Dementia Support. She chose to make a seahorse due to its Greek name – hippocampus – being the same as that part of the brain that controls memory and is so often affected by dementia.
Sepp is 42 cm tall and the baby is approximately 11 cm tall. They are made from 100% cotton yarn and the filling is 100% Hi-Loft polyester filling and is hand washable. They are available in pale green, dusty pink, dusty blue or purple. The seahorses are handmade to order and ship approximately 3-4 weeks after purchase. Please specify which colour you would like when you order by emailing Tina Somorin.
75% from the purchase of each seahorse will go towards the fund for Rare Dementia Support, held by The National Brain Appeal. All money raised helps maintain and extend the existing support service for individuals living with or affected by an atypical dementia diagnosis.
