This year marks the 35th birthday of The National Brain Appeal we will be talking about how you can join in with the celebrations.
This year’s theme is Recovery & Support – highlighting developments with the new Aphasia Clinic as well as revealing plans for the new Rare Dementia Support Centre and how this will have huge benefits for dementia patients across the UK.
Our speakers include Profs Alex Leff and Jenny Crinion who will be talking about a UK first – a dedicated, high-intensity neurorehab clinic for people with aphasia. This will lead into Profs Nick Fox and Sebastian Crutch talking to us about another pioneering Queen Square project – the UK’s first specialist centre for those living with a rare form of dementia.
After there will be a drinks reception and the chance for guests to speak to the charity team and some of the clinicians and researchers.
If you would like to join us Tuesday 18 June for what is sure to be an inspiring evening. Please email Abbie Bell by Friday 14 June.
