Our annual art fundraiser, A Letter in Mind, is our creative way of raising money for Queen Square.
A Letter in Mind is back with a bang for our fifth birthday! We have an explosion of 391 colourful, vibrant and must-have artworks for sale, all at just £85 each. We’re grateful to the abundance of talented artists who’ve given us their support for 2018. These include former BP Portrait Award winner Ishbel Myerscough, Royal Academy Summer Exhibition exhibitor Frank Kiely, designers Morag Myerscough and Luke Morgan; author and illustrator Chris Riddell, illustrators Tim Hopwood, Polly Dunbar and Bethan Woollvin; artist and curator Harry Pye; musician, artist and former member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds James Johnston; charity Headliners Kevin Eldon and Sophie Thompson, actor Stephen Campbell Moore; and award-winning architects Laurie Chetwood, Andrew Grant and Amin Taha. All artwork envelopes will be priced at £85 and sold anonymously at the exhibition. The artists’ names of the sold artworks will be revealed after the gallery@oxo exhibition closes at 6pm on 30 September. See below for exhibition opening details. If you can’t make it along to the gallery, then look at our online gallery from 11am on 27 September, where you will be able to browse and buy from the comfort of your own home! To mark our fifth year, acclaimed British sculptor, Antony Gormley, has donated a special artwork to sell alongside A Letter in Mind, via silent auction. If you would like to place a bid you must register first. *If this hyperlink doesn’t work, please cut and paste http://bit.ly/2PHJkLT into your browser After registering, you create a PIN code which will allow you to place a bid in the auction which begins at 3.30pm on 26 September and ends at 8pm on 9 October.
