Eight world records have been set along the BMW Berlin Marathon’s notoriously flat route, and the world’s most elite athletes come back time and time again to run the course.
The race starts and finishes at the iconic Brandenburg Gate, before passing a whole host of fascinating landmarks along the way, including the Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, and Berlin Cathedral.
You’ll be sharing the course with 40,000 runners, as well as over a million spectators who will be cheering you on every step of the way. There’s nothing quite like the camaraderie and togetherness of running one of the Marathon Majors!
